Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit & Relaxation

The upper age limit is generally specified as 18 to 30 years for civilian candidates. However, for the posts of HSM Electronics and HS-I Electronics, the age limit is fixed at 18 to 35 years. However, the details of relaxation in the age limit are as follows.

Candidates recruited under the Prime Minister’s Assistance Package shall be given a relaxation of 05 years.
A relaxation of 10 years is specified for persons with disabilities.
A relaxation of 15 years is fixed for retired military personnel. Their age should not exceed 45 years.
Serving or contract employees whose contract has been continuously completed for 02 years shall be given a relaxation of 10 years in age.
