Job Introduction
Sindh Agriculture Department Larkana Jobs 2026 have been officially advertised through the Daily Jang newspaper. Applications are invited from eligible, experienced, and skilled candidates for appointment to the following various vacant positions.
All these positions will be filled according to the terms and positions included in the project’s approved PC-1. These recruitments will be made under the Project Management Unit (PMU) for the project of establishing a Fruit and Vegetable Market in Larkana. All positions will initially be filled on a contract basis for a fixed period of three years. The continuation of employment will be subject to the continuation of the project, the availability of funds, and the satisfactory performance of the candidates.
The entire recruitment process will be completed under the supervision of the relevant recruitment committee or authorized officer, in accordance with the approved project and applicable government rules and policies. Individuals appointed to these positions will not have any right to permanent government employment, as these appointments are being made on a project basis. The monthly salaries of employees will be determined according to the approved project, while salary payments will be subject to applicable government rules and necessary approvals.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for the advertised positions must possess qualifications such as MBA, ECMA, ACCA, CA, BE, BBA, Master’s in Economics, B.Com, M.Com, Bachelor’s, Middle, and Primary. For engineering-related positions, candidates must hold a degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering from a recognized university. For driver positions, in addition to the required educational qualifications, an HTV/LTV driving license and relevant driving experience are also required.

2. Procurement Specialist

Key Responsibilities
The staff of the Project Management Unit (PMU) selected for these positions will perform their duties according to their respective positions and responsibilities. These duties include project implementation, planning, technical supervision, handling financial matters, procurement, monitoring and reviewing project progress, evaluating contracts, ensuring work quality, maintaining necessary records, managing human resources and administrative affairs, and preparing project-related reports.
The selected staff will be responsible for properly carrying out all relevant activities, from project planning to implementation. In addition, their duties will include supervising technical work related to the project, assisting in the proper functioning of the financial system, completing the procurement process in accordance with the relevant rules, and continuously reviewing the performance and progress of the project. Similarly, reviewing contract-related matters, maintaining work quality, keeping all necessary project documents and records safe, handling staff-related matters and office administration, and providing reports on project progress to the relevant authorities will also be part of their responsibilities.
All these responsibilities must be carried out in accordance with the approved PC-I, relevant government laws and regulations, applicable policies, and instructions issued by the competent authority.
