Job Introduction 

Ministry of Defence Quetta Cantt Jobs 2026 has recently been announced through the Daily Jang newspaper. Multiple vacancies are available at the Ministry of Defence School of Infantry and Tactics, Quetta Cantt. Applications are invited from suitable candidates from all over the country for appointment to these posts.

The recruitment process for all posts will be carried out on a regular basis. However, the selected candidates will be placed on a probationary period by the competent authority, which may be extended up to one year. Eligibility Criteria

For recruitment to the above-mentioned posts, candidates must possess BSc, FA, FSc, Matric, Middle, Primary, or a diploma in the relevant field, as applicable. For the posts of Driver, candidates must also possess a driving license in addition to the required educational qualification.

Age Limit & Relaxation

The upper age limit for all posts has been fixed at 18 to 25 years. However, in addition to the general relaxation of 05 years in the upper age limit, further relaxation may also be granted under the following rules:

• A relaxation of 03 years will be granted to persons belonging to Scheduled Castes, the Buddhist community, recognized tribal areas, Azad Kashmir, the Northern Areas of Balochistan, and Sindh (Rural).
• Retired personnel of the Armed Forces of Pakistan, government employees, and contract employees whose contract has continued for a period of 02 years will be granted an age relaxation of 15 years.
• Disabled persons will be granted a general age relaxation of 10 years.
• Widows, daughters, and sons of government employees who died during service will be granted an age relaxation of up to 05 years.

How to Apply

Eligible candidates’ application forms should reach the Civil Cell Office, addressed to the Commandant, School of Infantry and Tactics, Quetta Cantt, within the aforementioned date.

Application Fee

Applicants will be required to attach a Postal Order of Rs. 600/- in favor of the Commandant, School of Infantry and Tactics, along with the application, in accordance with the prescribed instructions. However, candidates applying for BPS-01 to BPS-05 posts should not submit a Postal Order.

Terms & Condition

• After shortlisting eligible and qualified candidates, their interviews will be conducted at this office.
• The age and educational qualification limits will be determined as of the last date for submission of applications.
• Preference in the interview/recruitment will be given to those candidates who attach experience certificates with their applications.
• These posts will be processed in accordance with the Civil Servants Act, 1973, and the rules amended from time to time.
• Candidates’ application forms should reach the Civil Cell Office by September 18, 2026.
