Job Introduction
The Auqaf, Religious Affairs, Zakat and Ushr Department has announced recruitment for various government positions. Details regarding these vacancies have been provided in a recently published advertisement in the Daily Jang newspaper. Applications are invited from suitable and eligible male and female candidates having domicile of Sindh for recruitment against the following vacant posts.
Candidates who possess the required educational qualifications and experience for the relevant posts can submit their applications online through the Government of Sindh Job Portal https://sjp.gos.pk. The appointments to these posts will be made in accordance with the policy issued by the Government of Sindh on 26 April 2023 and the relevant laws and rules of the Sindh Civil Act 1973. In this regard, the new rules issued from time to time will also be applicable.

Eligibility Criteria
For appointment to the above-mentioned posts, candidates must have educational qualifications such as a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce with an overall CGPA, a BS degree, BBA or Graduation in Second Division. They must also have a 06-month certificate in MS Office.

Age Limit & Relaxation
The age limit for both positions is set at 21 to 28 years. However, a general age relaxation of 05 years will be applicable in accordance with the notification issued by the Services, General Administration & Coordination Department, Government of Sindh. The age of applicants will be determined as of the closing date for submission of applications.

Screening Test
Candidates will also have to go through stages such as a screening test. They are required to obtain at least 40% marks in the “Graduation Category” General Screening Test conducted by Sukkur IBA Testing Services (STS). The candidate must also possess the relevant certificate issued by STS, which is required for appointment to the above-mentioned posts.
Terms & Condition
⏭️ Interview Instructions: Applicants will be required to appear before the Departmental Selection Committee for the interview, along with their original educational documents, according to the schedule to be issued on the job portal.
⏭️ Cancellation of Previous Recruitment Process: All proceedings related to the recruitment previously conducted under the advertisement dated 08 April 2026 shall be considered cancelled due to administrative reasons. The recruitment process will be completed afresh according to the prescribed procedure.
⏭️ Government Employees: Existing government employees should obtain an NOC from their respective department before submitting their applications. At the time of the interview, they must present the original copy of the NOC to the Departmental Selection Committee.
⏭️ Advice & Last Date: All eligible candidates are advised to ensure that all required information and documents are complete and accurate before submitting their applications. Completed applications must be submitted online before the specified closing date of 30 September 2026.
