Eligiblity Criteria :

For these latest government job opportunities, candidates must possess educational qualifications ranging from Primary to Matric level. However, applicants applying for technical positions are required to have relevant technical skills, computer proficiency, and practical experience in their respective fields. In addition, candidates applying for Driver posts must hold a valid driving licence.

Age Limit & Relaxation

The upper age limit for civilian candidates has been fixed between 18 and 30 years. However, for Driver posts, candidates must be between 18 and 35 years of age. Certain categories of candidates, including those belonging to specific regions and retired armed forces personnel, shall be granted general age relaxation as detailed below:

  • In line with the prevailing government policies, applicants belonging to Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK), Gilgit-Baltistan, Tribal Areas, Rural Sindh, Balochistan, Scheduled Castes, and the Buddhist community can avail themselves of an upper age limit relaxation of up to three years.
  • Retired Armed Forces personnel shall be granted a general age relaxation of 15 years in the upper age limit.
  • Government servants currently in service and contract employees having a continuous contract period of at least 2 years shall be granted a 10-year age relaxation.
  • Persons with disabilities shall be granted a 10-year age relaxation in the upper age limit. However, this relaxation is applicable only for posts in BPS-15 and below.
  • The widow, son, or daughter of a government employee who died during service shall be entitled to a general age relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit.

Note :

If a candidate is entitled to age relaxation under more than one of the above-mentioned categories, he/she shall be allowed age relaxation under only one category.

How to Apply Online Step by Step

Step No.01 : Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria for the advertised positions should submit their applications online through the official MES website, www.mes.gov.pk.
Step No.02 :
Applicants will be required to undergo the prescribed selection process, including a Screening (Written) Test and a Skill/Practical Test where applicable.
Step No.03 :Tests will be conducted only at the designated examination centres located in Peshawar, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Multan, Karachi, and Quetta.
Step No.04 :The number of test centres may be increased or reduced depending on the number of applicants. Candidates must clearly indicate their preferred examination centre while submitting the online application form.
Step No.05 :The deadline for submitting complete online applications is 21 June 2026.

Application Fee

  • Applicants applying for vacancies in Basic Pay Scale (BPS) 11 will be required to pay the prescribed application fee through a fee challan.
  • Candidates must deposit a fee of Rs. 1,000 through the online-generated challan form at any branch of Askari Bank or via Easypaisa.

Important Instructions

Candidates must produce the following original documents along with their attested photocopies at the time of the interview:

  • Three (03) recent passport-size photographs.
  • Attested copies of educational certificates/degrees.
  • Verified copy of the candidate’s Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC), duly attested by the relevant authority.
  • Domicile certificate duly verified by the concerned district authorities.
  • Experience certificates (where applicable).
  • Attested copy of the Discharge Certificate issued by the District Armed Services Board (DASB) for ex-servicemen, or a Service Certificate issued by the concerned department for serving candidates (MES or other Government Departments).
  • Declaration on Oath duly attested by a Grade-I Magistrate for non-Muslim candidates.
  • Disability Certificate clearly indicating the nature of disability, issued by the District Rehabilitation Organization (DRO) or the District Council of Health.

Test/Interview Call Letters

Call letters for tests and interviews will be issued only through the official website of the Military Engineering Services (MES).
