Required Qualification

Age Limit & Relaxation
The age limit of 18 to 30 years has been specified for all trade posts. The general age relaxation of 05 years has already been included in the upper age limit by the government. No further age relaxation is available.

Physical Standards
- Minimum height for Religious Teacher and Cook posts : 05 feet 06 inches. However, candidates with greater height will be given preference in the final selection.
- Minimum height for Lady Rangers (Sepoy General Duty) posts : 05 feet 04 inches. However, candidates with greater height will be given preference in the final selection.
- Minimum height for Sweeper and other miscellaneous trade posts : 05 feet 03 inches. However, candidates with greater height will be given preference in the final selection.
- Chest : 33 inches with 1½ inches expansion (for male candidates).
- Weight : Minimum 122 pounds. The weight should not be more than this according to medical rules.
Salary & Other Benefits
Selected candidates will be paid salaries according to the Basic Pay Scale. Candidates will be provided free accommodation. However, married individuals will be provided house rent and allowances at 30 or 45 percent of the Basic Pay Scale. Other allowances will also be provided to selected candidates according to the prevailing policies and rules.
Training Location
For the Lady Rangers (Sepoy General Duty) posts, the finally selected women will have to receive basic training at Sector Headquarters Desert Rangers, Bahawalpur.
For the Cook posts, the finally selected individuals will have to receive basic training at Pakistan Rangers Academy, Mandi Bahauddin.

Explanation of Required Documents
Candidates will have to provide the required educational documents for initial registration. The required documents are arranged as follows:
- Original educational certificates/documents along with 02 photocopies
- Original National Identity Card along with 02 photocopies
- Original Domicile/PRC along with 02 photocopies
- 02 attested passport-size colored photographs
- In case of government employees/semi-government employees, an NOC from the relevant organization
Selection Process
Candidates will go through stages such as the physical test, for which they will have to bring PT shoes and joggers. Candidates will also have to bring the necessary materials required for the written examination from home. Shortlisted eligible candidates will undergo a psychological examination and interview. The final selection of candidates will be made at Headquarters Pakistan Rangers Punjab, Lahore, based on eligibility and merit.
Medical Examination: Candidates will undergo a medical examination, which will include a chest X-ray, blood group test, urine test, ECG, Hepatitis B & C tests, sugar test, and a complete stomach examination (ultrasound).
Psychological Examination: During the psychological examination, candidates will undergo tests such as HB Electrophoresis and LDH Blood Serum.
